Dr. Sanghamitra Bhanja is an academician, critic, poet, short-story writer, lyricist and translator specializing in comparative literature and translation studies in Odia and Hindi. She currently leads the P.G. Department of Odia at Rama Devi Women's University.
Her literary work moves between criticism, creative writing, translation and editing, with particular attention to cultural memory and marginalized narratives. Her celebrated work Bruhannalara Abhisara engages the lives and inner worlds of the Kinnar community.
